Summer 2025
I completed a summer internship supporting residential interior design projects. Responsibilities included running errands throughout the Dallas Design District, sourcing and selecting finishes and fabrics, and coordinating with vendor and product representatives. Assisted the design team by drafting small-scale floor plans and layouts in AutoCAD, gaining hands-on experience in the design development process, material specification, and professional studio workflow.

During the summer, I assisted in selecting finishes for this client's dining room. Along with selecting finishes, I helped plan with the photoshoot for this space. I worked with the photographer to make sure the photos captured the design intent, material details, and overall atmosphere of the space.
In Dallas, I was lucky enough to be able to experience shopping for materials in the Design District. Working with reps to help bring spaces to life was a valuable learning experience that strengthened my understanding of material selection, sourcing, and collaboration in bringing design concepts to life.
